Bunny Crispies

Made these rice crispy treat bunny pops for my visiting teachees last night. I kind of rushed a little bit when putting on the faces, so they are not very sharp looking but still fun!

Cabinet Makeover

This is the best picture I can find (above) of my black cabinet. I gave it a makeover this weekend. So now it looks like this:

I did a cream body...

... and an American Walnut stain.

My favorite part about re-doing this cabinet is the handles. I found a basket full of crystal handles at the antique store in Palouse last weekend and it inspired me!

Spring Wreath

So I have been eying this Spring wreath at JoAnn's for the last few weeks now and yesterday I just broke down and bought it. I added the pink ribbon because lately I have been loving pink. Happy Spring!

I just love my little...

Leprechaun...
AND... my Uncle Sam!

Earring Holder

I LOVE my near earring holder (sorry the picture is not that great)! My friend Tessa and I made a run to the antique stores in Palouse, WA to look for frames that we could use to make ourselves some fun earring holders and I found just what I was looking for!

Seattle Trip - Spring Break

This is my favorite picture from the trip, just down by the Seattle Waterfront.

Top of the Space Needle

Midget mirror-- so funny!

Huge guitar... I love the candid expression on my face in the photo above.

Me and my friend Ashley sitting on a giant chair!

The butterfly section of the Pacific Science Center was really fun! Brandon did get a beautiful butterfly to land on him. =)

The aquarium- we were not very impressed with the aquarium. There was a great petting zoo but no sharks/dolphins! Guess we need to go somewhere else to see those.

The argosy boat cruise was my favorite part of the trip because the rocking of the boat felt SO good it put me to sleep and I took a nice nap. I did not want it to end!

View of Seattle from our cruise

Pikes Place Market was another adventure. I LOVED the bright and beautiful colors of the fruits and vegetables.

How excited do I look to see this girl?! Pretty excited. Carey is a dear friend and I miss her all the time!!

Carey took Ashley and I to one of the malls in Seattle and it was some good girl time. We had some good finds too!

The Underground Tour

So I kind of envisioned this picture (above) to be TOTALLY different. Oh well! It is still kind of cool. I think we should have stood in the middle of the bridge though and I definitely needed to shed a few layers (two coats on and I look like a balloon!!).
The flight museum was probably Brandon's favorite thing. He would probably stay there all day if I let him.

Can you tell that I am ready to go home? The flight museum was our last stop and I was pretty pooped by the end of the trip. We had lots of fun though and going with friends was something we don't get to do often so we really enjoyed our time in Seattle!

Oh, and the night before Seattle, we stayed at my grandparents cabin in Cle Elum, WA. Brandon and I both went upstairs to get into our PJs at separate times and realized when we were next to each other that we totally matched. I was THRILLED! If I had my way, we would match all the time. I think it is the cutest thing but Brandon does not like it at all. He usually changes if we match! Silly kid.

Lucky Blocks

This is probably my favorite St. Patrick's Day craft so far (I don't know why but maybe blocks are just what I like).

Two-sided Spring Craft

4-Way Stacker

This is something that I thought was a clever idea but I have discovered that I am not so much into the whole vinyl on top of the scrapbook paper. It is just not my look but I enjoyed giving it a try!

Scrabble Blocks

These are some fun scrabble blocks I made for a bunco prize last month!

Bagels and Bows on a Saturday!

Last Saturday my friend Becca came over and we gave our first shot at making homemade bagels. We did a wheat bagel and it was SO good!! I was a little skeptical at first and our bagels definitely do not take a perfect shape but they were fun and I think I will definitely be making more of them soon. Becca also showed me how to make some cute hair bows while the bagels were cooking.
