My first tutu!

Here is my lovely Dora doll drowning in the tutu I made last night. This project was so fun and easy. Thank you Ashley for showing me how to make these!

Fun Car Totes

I am pretty proud of these little car totes (can you tell?). My dear friend Tessa taught me how to make them and although they are a bit time consuming, they have been one of my favorite projects. You are suppose to store little matchbox cars in the little pockets on the outside and then you can take the tote with you to church or wherever for the kiddos to play cars. Fun huh?

Beautiful Sunset

Last weekend Brandon and I had the opportunity to go to Spokane to do some work in the temple. These are pictures of the beautiful sunset that caught our eye just as we were heading out of Spokane to go home.

Be Still...

This is a craft that my mom had me design for our family reunion last summer and I finally got to putting it together a few weeks ago. I love how it turned out.

Baby Crafts

This is about the easiest baby gift/craft I have ever put together and I would highly recommend it. It is super easy. I got the idea online and I think it turned out super cute (despite the fact that this really isn't a good picture of it).

Ok, so no judging because I look AWFUL in this picture (I had just gotten back from a really long run). I just wanted to get a better picture up of the baby blanket I made. I am so totally obsessed with the fabric and can't wait to make more.

Baby Gordon

The main reason we went to Utah last weekend was to see this cute little guy, Gordon David Lind, born to my little sister Sharon and her husband Gary.

And of course, Grandma cannot get enough of him!

Crystal and Rachel always made sure they got a turn with Gordon. So he had like 4 moms while we were around!

He is a pretty alert baby and that is fun.
Just thought I would throw a few last Utah pictures in there... Rachel and her cool BYU sucker.

Last but not least, here is our view (can't you tell it is amazing... haha) at the BYU basketball game on Saturday! We had a blast!!

Oh, So Yummy!

This dessert is called Ice Cream Heaven and I can never get enough of it. So here goes...

Unwrap and place 6 ice cream sandwiches in a pan.

Smother the top with some whipped cream.

Cover with caramel sauce (and/or fudge sauce)

Sprinkle crushed skor bar on top.

Then REPEAT one more time and there you have it. So easy and so yummy!! Store in freezer. This dessert always taste better when it has been covered and placed in the freezer overnight (before you eat it) so it can harden... Enjoy!

4 Year Anniversary

February 3, 2011 marked Brandon and I's 4 year anniversary from the day he asked me to marry him and I said yes. Every year on Feb. 3rd, Brandon has written me a very nice letter and given me flowers. This year he surprised me and put copies of the other three letters and the letter he wrote me on that day when he asked to marry me and displayed them next to some lovely pink tulips. Sometimes I don't know how I got so lucky. This man is so good to me and I often feel so undeserving. I love you babe!

The truth is...

...that there is just not enough time in the day for everything, including hobbies (sad, I know).

I got a new camera for Christmas. It wasn't the camera I actually wanted but it is still a really nice camera and I should really be trying to figure it out. My friend Brynn has been really nice in letting me borrow learning DVDs, coming over and helping me a bit and I have had a few other friends try to be of help as well. But the reality is, I just have not had the time for it all. I want to learn how to use my nice camera so badly but there are too many other demands for it right now. So I have decided I will watch for a good deal on the camera I really want and then do a swap when the time is right. Then, I will get into a photography class and that will force me to start learning. Good plan, right? I guess we will find out.

Family Time

This picture goes down as one of my favorite pictures of Brandon and Crystal of all time. I love the looks on both of their faces. It makes me so happy to see my siblings play and laugh with Brandon. I know they love him and that is the best feeling.

Stewart all snuggled up to Brandon... classic!

Crystal wanted her picture next to all these toys... not sure why.

Doug

Blake... watching sports, of course.

I don't know why I like this picture of Blake so much but I think it is cool.

"Crystal, can you please stop playing the wii so that I can watch sports center?".... says Blake.

Crystal

Doug & Brandon on the PS2... well, Doug is playing and Brandon is watching.
