The past few days I have been whining to Brandon about the fact that he has to leave to go to Walla Walla to work for my dad for a few days. I hate being apart from him. It is like complete torture to me! However, my dad is harvesting his pie cherry farm today and tomorrow and needs someone to run the big crew (my dad farms on the side of his actual job for a marketing company... crazy, huh?! He is addicted to work- that is why). Since Brandon has a few days free before his externship in Lewiston finishes, he told my dad he would be able to come up and help. It has been a super hard decision for me to let him go but I know my dad needs the help and that I need to learn to sleep without my Brandon. Well, this morning I woke up and went out to the dining room (of course dreading the day because I would not see Brandon when I come home from work) and he had left me this big card, titled the "I already miss you card," with a beautiful red rose and a present. I was totally not expecting it!!! The gift is on the left and it is even more creative. it is a big ball of shrink wrap and there are layers. In between each of the layers there are notes (very poetic and cute of course- Brandon did his bachelors in English by the way) and my favorite candy (rolos) interspersed. So as I am unwrapping the ball of shrink wrap, rolos are falling out and then I get to another note. Cute, huh? And then at the very center there is another gift. I can't decide if card and gifts are making me miss him more or helping me get through the day without texting him all day and missing him even more!

You just need to have a girls night, or two while he is gone!
I know how it is to have the hubby gone for more then a few days. It's hard. I think the longest time has been a week for me. I had such a hard time sleeping.
I agree with Camille. I think you need to hang out with mates while your gone or read a good book or see a chick flick that Brandon wouldn't want to see.
I think that's very sweet of him.
Ohh, how sweet. :) That plastic wrap ball is such a cute idea! I'm sorry that you have to be without Brandon for awhile, that is no fun at all. :(
What a cool guy! You are lucky- both! :)
That was so thoughtful of him. My husband leaves me little note all the time. I love it. Sometimes it take me a little while to find them. Your Brandon is very creative. You guys are such a cute couple.
