Tonight we took on the great task of canning pears. My parents sent us home with pears last weekend and my mom called me last night to tell me that they would probably be ready. So tonight we got together with Rob and Becca and went pear crazy- 71 quarts baby (between the two of us)! And first time canning fruit by ourselves. We are pretty proud.

I've missed canning this year, my mother in law has done it all for me...she says Im "too far a long" to help! I told her she's crazy and I like doing it but alas they are all done and ready and she is going to bring them to me if this baby EVER decides she wants out! Miss you!!
