Our Newest Addition

Here she is... our newest addition. I found this beauty at a yard sale this last weekend and after I sold our old one (made of plexwood) it only cost me $10. So it was a pretty good deal for as big of an upgrade as it was. There are no bid dings or anything in it and let me tell you I am just very in love with it. I think it is beautiful and I especially love the huge mirror on the top. It matches our headboard and footboard lots better than the black dresser we had.

Brandon has been pretty cute about it. I could tell he was not very excited about it when I first brought it home because it was so large. Since then it has definitely grown on him. He did make a comment to me the other day that was funny though. He said he couldn't believe we had just gotten rid of our first two dressers just in this last week. The first dresser we ever had was some plastic storage boxes on wheels. We used them to store other things for awhile after using them as dressers but now we don't have anything else to use them for so I gave them away last week. So if you combine the plastic drawers with the dresser we had before this new one, you get our first two dressers. I think this new one will last us a long time!

It looks great! Did you polish it up? You failed to mention how much the original price of like 1200 was!

I cannot believe you only got it for $10! And you are so funny about me looking skinnier. I have lost some weight since we started exercising regularly in January (and still going!). And I like my hair long too, but I need to get cut into an actually style. Right now it's just grown out.
