One Long Week

It has been a super long week... Sunday was my brother Kyle's mission farewell. He is serving a mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. So Sunday we had lots of family and friends over. Then Monday we all spent the day in the car driving to Utah for my sister Sharon's wedding. Sharon got married to Gary Lind from Alpine, UT on Tuesday. That morning we went to the wedding breakfast, the wedding, and a reception all in one day. Brandon and I went to our friends' place that evening and played some games with them. Then Wednesday morning we dropped my brother Kyle off at the Missionary Training Center in Provo, UT and then spent the rest of the day driving back to Washington. The roads were pretty good for us until we reached Baker City, OR. We drove through snow and ice from Baker to about the top of cabbage hill. So today we just spent most of the day relaxing and trying to wind down from all of the stress of what has gone on these past few days. It has really been emotionally exhausting! I am glad to be done with all of it.. and moving on to a new year!
