Silverwood - Finally!

Last weekend we made it to Silverwood Theme Park up in Coeur d'Alene, Idaho... FINALLY! For two years, we kept telling ourselves that we needed to go and we would always plan a trip with a couple of our friends and then they would bail on us. So, we finally decided that even if our friends bailed, we would go and we did. It was so worth it. I find that as the summers are so short and I have very few days of time off work, it is these kinds of things that keep me going. They are like little moments of sunshine in my life.

Brandon's bits of little humor... he is such a goof when we travel!

We ended up going back to our car twice to get different things that we forgot. So we definitely got some good exercise... haha!

We thought this was a pretty cool little decoration.

So while we were walking around Silverwood, I saw lots of this ice cream, only a lot smaller version. So I decided to order some for Brandon and I and instead of getting a one scoop for each of us, it was cheaper to get one two scoop and share. Little did I know that a two scoop looked like this!!!!!

There were quite of few shows we got to see. My favorite was the ice skating show. One guy even did some flips for us on ice. That was pretty sweet. And the couple skating was pretty neat too. Brandon's favorite was the magic show. We didn't get any pictures from that. We were too entertained at the time I guess!

Some of these pictures from me riding the carousel are fuzzy but it brought back such good memories from coming to Silverwood with my own family as a child and riding the carousel. I loved it!

We waited in line for the longest time at the bumper boats. So, we decided we had to get a picture or else it may not have been worth the wait.

We ended our day with some lovely Olive Garden. Brandon said he wanted a salad and so we had to go. It was the perfect ending to a perfect day. I think overall our favorite was the Boulder Beach water park because the lines were not as long. At Silverwood we had to wait in huge lines for anything we did and that got a bit old. So we were glad we spend lots of time at the water park and shows!
